Bachelor Degree Program – Culinary Arts

To develop future culinary arts and technologies and business talents who are:

  • conscientious, ethical, humble, socially adept and become organic members of the societies they belong to. They should also have a high sense of civic duty and conform with professionalism and professional ethics in Thai and international contexts;
  • proficient theoretically and practically, highly competent in the field of culinary arts and business ready for local and international market demand and higher education;
  • keeping current with fast-changing knowledge and technologies and are capable of developing themselves, societies, and the countries;
  • are critical and creative thinkers as well as doers who are able to choose appropriate solutions to the problems and are able to apply mathematics and sciences in culinary professions effectively in Thai and international contexts;
  • are skillful in communication, can work well as a team, well-organized and well-planned, as well as healthy attitude in profession and professional organizations.

 

The Program structure:

  • 3 Years in Thailand
  • 1 Year in France (Study 4 months) and Internship (5 Months)

Language of instruction: English

 

Entry requirement:

  • Both Thai and international students
  • High school diploma or equivalent from institutes recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education
  • 18 years or older
  • English language proficiency (IELTS Score Band 4.5 or Paper-based TOEFL 480, or Computer-based TOEFL 153, or Internet-based TOEFL 53 or higher)
  • Interview
  • No prior culinary experience is required

Degrees to be granted:

Upon passing final exams, you will be awarded two certifications with worldwide recognition:

  • Bachelor of Technology in Culinary Arts and Technology from Rajamangala University of Technology, Rattanakosin, Thailand
  • Bachelor of MACAT (Métiers des Arts Culinaires et des Arts de la Table) with orientation of French and European gastronomic culture from CY Cergy Paris University, France
  • Professional Diploma in Culinary Arts delivered by Institut Disciples Escoffier
  • French National Certificate in Culinary Arts (level 3) delivered by the French Ministry of Education
