Disciples Escoffier International, founded in France in 1954, is an association dedicated to the culinary arts. Now counting over 30’000 “Disciples” in 30 countries, it has become the world’s largest chef association.

Institut Disciples Escoffier is our culinary school with several locations in Asia and Europe. We strive to uphold to prepare our students for demanding careers within luxury hospitality groups and fine dining establishments.

Why Choose Institut Disciples Escoffier

Our philosophy is driven by Auguste Escoffier (1846-1936), the legendary “King of Chefs, Chef of Kings”, widely considered the father of modern French cuisine. While introducing unprecedented standards of sophistication and elegance to the world of fine dining and luxury hospitality, Escoffier always insisted that dishes be simpler, lighter, and made from fresh ingredients. He never stopped innovating, and believed as we do that “cooking will evolve in parallel with society’s evolution, while always remaining an art form”.

As such, we are accredited by the French Ministry of Education, and work on a regular basis with celebrated international chefs. We seek to continue inspiring new careers, and strive to share with students our passion and know-how for fine cuisine and French gastronomy.
